FAGC AD 2.20  FAGC AD 2.20 LOCAL AERODROME REGULATIONS

1. Airport regulations
-Engine running only to be conducted at the engine run-up area RWY 35. No vehicles allowed on any manoeuvring area without rotating Amber LGT or permission from APM. ATC view of the northern part of the TWY including the holding point 17 is obstructed. CCTV camera has been installed to assist in this area.
- All aircraft requiring parking must contact apron office on frequency 130.35 MHz for parking instructions.
- Pilots taxiing from the Apron onto the main TWY to EXER CTN before entering due to helicopters operating on the main TWY.
- Instructors are only allowed to exit ACFT for the purpose of student continuing with solo flying within the manoeuvring area. Students are to call for taxi instructions before re entering the manoeuvring area. All students pilots are to advise ATC on first contact that they are conducting solo student flight training.
-All ACFT must be securely chocked and tied down.
-All helicopters to land on designated helipads only with due regard to other tenants.No hover training on Helicopter grass approach.
-No Helicopter emergency landing training will be done on the TWY or RWY except in case of emergency
2. Parking for visiting aircraft
-Visiting aircraft must contact apron office on frequency 130.35 MHz for parking instructions. Aircraft wishing to park overnight or more should refer to airport management. ACFT should avoid landing on Netcare 911 helipad.
3. Taxiing- limitations.
-All aircraft to taxi at fast walking pace only, any aircraft not adhering to this rule will have a fine imposed.

Circuit Procedures:
Circuit ALT
Helicopters: 6000 FT ALT
Single engines: 6300 FT ALT
Twin engines: 6800 FT ALT
Fixed wing circuit: RWY 35 - Left hand circuit
RWY 17- right hand circuit
1. Departing aircraft are to maintain RWY heading to 6000 FT ALT before turning.
2. Early turnouts may only be executed with the knowledge of ATC.
3. Departing fixed wing aircraft should maintain 6500 FT ALT until clear of the circuit.
4. Arriving ACFT are to adhere to ATC instructions. When RWY 17 is in use ACFT approaching from the north should expect to join overhead the field at 6800 FT ALT, to be positioned into the circuit.
5. RCF Procedure: Traffic should join 6800 FT ALT above the airfield, conform to the circuit pattern and land on the RWY in use, making blind broadcast on frequency 122.80 MHz and Squawk 7600.
6. After ATC hours joining procedure: As per AIP unmanned procedures.
