3 Stop bars

Stop bars are fitted at all intersections for Both Main Runways 11/29 and secondary Runway 06/24. No crossing of red stop bar lights shall be allowed unless specifically approved by ATC. In adverse weather conditions and LVP’s, follow me vehicle will be provided upon request.

4 Remark a. Aircraft inbound are to contact East London Apron on frequency 122.65 MHz at least 10 minutes prior to arrival with the following information: Point of Departure, ETA and Persons on Board, a Parking bay will then be issued by the Apron Controller

b. Aircraft outbound from East London are to contact East London Apron on frequency 122.65 MHz, with Destination and People on Board, before requesting start on Tower Frequency 118.3 MHz

c. Aircraft contacts ATC on FREQ 118.30 MHz for start and taxi clearance.

d. Where power-out procedures are followed, noise levels must be kept at minimum.
